A gloriously sunny winter's morning greeted the ladies entering the December Winter Alliance at Wishaw golf club on Sunday December 4th.
Unfortunately it was accompanied by a sharp frost which necessitated the use of temporary greens. However, this slightly shortened course, with larger than usual cups resulted in excellent scores being submitted and some very contented ladies in the club house! 17 clubs were represented.
Hearsall pair, Jill PITTARD & Jean HINSON were clear winners with 44 points with Kay TONKINSON& Jayne FITZPATRICK, Copt Heath, runners up with 41 points (on count back)
County President, Caroline LASSEN, performed the first presentation duty of her new role, thanking the club for their hospitality and the various helpers on the day.
The ball raffle raised £45 for the Warwickshire Girls.
