WLCGA Summer Meeting
WLCGA Summer meeting, 26 July, 2021, held at Leamington and County Golf Club
The sun shone again for our County Summer meeting and the scoring reflected the weather, with our winners all scoring under par!
36 ladies entered the competition, playing in Medal Better Ball, with 85% handicap allowance.
Thanks to Peggy King, Lady Captain at Leamington, who provided well received biscuits and snacks for the ladies, as well as running the ball sweep which made a total of £73.00 towards the development of junior girls golf within the county.
Thanks also to the Club Manager, Bryan Fraser and his pro shop team and green keepers as well as the catering and bar staff who provided us with lovely food and drink - the fish finger sandwiches were a particular hit!
We look forward to seeing everyone at our next event, which is the Midlands South Fourball Betterball to be held at Copt Heath, on Thursday 19 August.
