The annual WLCGA Veronica Anstey Competition, an 18 hole singles medal round was played this year at Harborne Golf Club on Monday 7th July. Great weather while all players were out on the course, although at times the sky looked a little threatening.
Coventry Golf Club were very well represented in the Prizes, with both the Best Gross and Best Net prizes going to County 1st Team players from that club, Charlotte HARTSHORN and Lisa BARTON respectively.
County Captain, Karen HEARN thanked Harborne GC for allowing the County to host the competition at their club and also for the great help and assistance prior to and during the event from the General Manager and Lady Members. Linda JORDAN, Lady Captain at Harborne GC then presented the prizes.
Once again, the County are indebted to Ruddells the Jewelers who awarded the prizes for this event, some fantastic cut glass vases, decanter and wine glasses and Karen stated that she was extremely pleased that the company continues to support the Warwickshire Ladies.
