ATHERSTONE PAIR WIN DECEMBER ALLIANCE

Our 2^nd Winter Alliance of 2014/15 was played at Henley Golf and Country Club in brilliant sunshine and blue sky. The only problem being it was bitterly cold and frosty. The frost holes of the early morning changed as if by magic at 10am and our lady golfers were able to enjoy the full course.

Henley Ladies were particularly hospitable and our thanks go to Diane Elsegood and her great bunch of helpers. Thanks also to the Henley Ladies for marking for one of our pairs.

There were two scores of 36 points, but the winners on countback were Sue LORD and Ann RANDALL from Atherstone coming in right at the end. Jayne PROUD and Barbara KELSEY from Wishaw came a very close 2^nd.  Well done ladies.

Thanks must go to all the staff at Henley for making us so welcome.
